Fuck these memories,
The smiles passed,
Were not an even exchange,
For the level of this,
Insanity.

You’re only breathing now,
Because I didn’t pull the plug,
If I never cared,
I would have arranged your death,
For nothing more then a favor,
So watch your next step,
This is far from over.

The past is - well call it what you must,
The death of my faith - it’s bleeding every day,
I never needed to meet those,
Who have made up every piece,
Though - now where would I be,
No -  not better off,
But possibly at peace.

My eyes are open,
Even when I force them shut,
It has no effect,
For I am not deaf - no.

I put those in the dark,
In hope the unknown stays where it does,
And never changes from it’s state,
But I am a fool,
I should know this world is far from static,
And it’s never my turn,
To control from the balcony,
The spot light.

Shadows are only shadows,
They have no choice,
No self-control,
As much as we can pile close to the walls,
I should have known,
Come noon all the hiding spots,
