There’s no chance to succeed when these shackles are so unforgiving,
Designed to keep criminals in check with societies views,
But what happened to life free or die,
These new ideals are brought on by the people,
But only because our government mind-fucked them into their false fears.

Controlling our futures with their mind control,
A tax increase of 1 percent from the proposed 2,
Just to make people like you feel like you have a say,
Haggling with your congress does not exist,
Can’t you see that was their plan all along,
Where has your paycheck gone.

Instead of case-by-case,
Your hearing will be tried on another’s result,
Of someone else’s trial,
Of someone else’s lawyer,
In someone else’s town,
Where is my justice in my justice system,
For the people - by the people - leaves me with no smile,
When those are just words - when have I had my say,
When did anyone ask me.
