I’ll walk with my head facing the ground,
Beneath my feet,
The earth it’s self my only friend,
And even she is cruel and cold,
Introducing life just to end it on a whim,
What a place we live,
What is life when circles make no progress,
And that’s all we can draw.
I’ve given you my heart and blood,
Restless hours in pain and for what,
Your sacrifices never did suffice,
If you put half your heart into a single task,
Maybe there would be at least one thing you could get done,
That not being the case you will die,
With nothing - With no one,
Such a pity - Such a shame.
I can’t be blamed,
I babysat you for years,
Bringing you up to speed,
But you never wanted to learn,
You’d rather let others bleed,
Their patience - Pouring out,
Now there’s nothing left,
And you still act surprised,
So I’ll keep my head facing down,
Do the dirt I can only turn,
One day we will be both there anyways.
